Brief

The brief was for a contemporary style terrace leading from the bi-fold doors at the same level, and with enough room for dining and seating.

Design and outcome

The paving choice was Marshalls Sawn Versuro in antique silver. Sawn paving is particularly smooth and gives a clean contemporary finish.

White rendered walls enclose the patio and steps and a raised bed of drought resistant lavender provides colour and scent. The water feature links the patio and garden.

The planting was a mixed scheme of purples, reds, oranges and yellows with long flowering roses, penstemons and verbena providing year round interest.
