Brief

This upmarket new build front garden and driveway had been planted by the developers but it needed a lighter touch where the planting was concerned and more colour and interest.

Design and outcome

The best of the planting was retained but now includes more perennials such as sun loving Salvias, Camassias, Gaura and silvery Stachys lanata to pop up amongst the structural evergreens.

Irrigation and a mulch keeps all the plants healthy and well watered in dry spells.

Lighting adds the finishing touch to really give the wow factor.
