contemporary driveway in
Croydon

Brief

A contemporary new driveway was required, with an update for the planting bed but still incorporating some screening. New steps and boundaries, and rendered walling to match the house.

Design and outcome

Sawn granite setts were chosen for the sleek contemporary look, and the baton fencing complements the wood of the front door. New steps and wall coping stones are in bespoke London Stone 'slab khaki' porcelain providing a luxurious touch.

The new planting features multi-stemmed Betula 'Fascination' trees for subtle screening. They are accompanied by grasses and flowering perennials for seasonal interest. Topiary balls of yew and Ilex crenata provide evergreen elegance.

The result is a greatly smartened up front driveway and entrance.

'We are so pleased with how the front garden has turned out and look forward to Nancy returning to install some pots'
